Privacy
This policy explains how Contour Integral AI Labs Limited ("Contour", "we", "us") processes personal data when you use Gridlogs (the "Service"). It applies to visitors to our marketing site, account holders, and people whose data appears in content processed through a workspace (for example, call participants named in transcripts).
Account and workspace data, content from connected tools (such as calls, CRM, and backlog systems), and technical logs needed to run and secure the service.
To provide Gridlogs, authenticate users, operate integrations, extract and rank product demand, bill where applicable, and meet legal and security obligations.
Access is scoped to the workspace, we do not sell personal data as a standalone product, and we design the service so processing supports the product—not unrelated profiling.
We process personal data in line with applicable UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, as described in this policy.
Gridlogs is operated by Contour Integral AI Labs Limited (company number 17154370), a company incorporated in England and Wales with its registered office in London, United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the data controller in respect of personal data we determine the purposes and means of processing when you use the Service, subject to the role of your organisation where it acts as an independent controller for its own employee or customer data.
You provide directly: name, email, password or authentication factors, organisation and workspace details, billing and payment references (via our payment provider), support messages, and anything you enter into the product.
From integrations you configure: depending on what you connect, this may include call transcripts and metadata, CRM account and contact fields, issues and labels from backlog tools, and similar operational data needed to run revenue-weighted backlog workflows.
Automatically: technical logs, device and browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, security events, and diagnostic information to keep the Service reliable and secure.
We process personal data where necessary to perform our contract with you or your organisation; where we have a legitimate interest that is not overridden by your rights (for example, securing the Service, improving product reliability, and limited analytics); where we are legally obliged; or where you have given consent (for example, certain marketing cookies or emails, where applicable).
We use personal data to create and manage accounts and workspaces, authenticate users, process content from connected systems, extract and cluster product demand, apply revenue context, sync outputs to tools you connect, invoice and collect payment, communicate about the Service, detect abuse, comply with law, and defend legal claims. We do not sell personal data as a commercial data asset.
We use trusted infrastructure and subprocessors (such as hosting, email, analytics, and payment providers) who process data on our instructions. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer (for example, a merger), subject to appropriate safeguards.
Where personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we implement appropriate safeguards recognised under UK law (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or adequacy regulations), unless a specific exception applies.
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, including to provide the Service, meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods depend on the type of data and your workspace settings; when an account or workspace ends, we delete or anonymise data in line with our retention schedule and any applicable agreement.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; we encourage strong passwords, SSO where available, and careful management of integration permissions.
Under UK data protection law you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may also lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Our marketing site and app may use cookies or similar technologies for essential operation, preferences, analytics, or security. Where required, we will obtain consent before non-essential cookies are set. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children for consumer use of the product in that context.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Where changes are material, we will provide notice as appropriate (for example, by email or in-product notice).
